The weather is almost the same year-round. It has high heat and humidity throughout the year. Rainfalls are more in winters, but that doesn’t mean that you hold your plans to visit this country. If you want to avoid high heat then do not plan your trip from May to September as these months are recorded as peak season. Whenever you visit, just wake-up early in the morning to beat the crowds and highest temperature of the day. Best Time of Shopping: Singapore is a year-around paradise, but the best time for shopping is during the annual Great Singapore Sale, when there are discounts up-to 70%. You can visit late May and the end of July. Second most favorable time is post-Christmas and New Year sales. If you want to do shopping in Chinatown then the best time to visit is January or February, a month before Chinese New Year. All the streets are decorated with dazzling lights and filled with stalls, pottery, clothes and household items.

Peak Season:Singapore doesn’t have any high and low seasons. It mainly depends on Winter and Summer breaks. Most of the crowds arrive in November to early January. When all the hotels, accommodation rates are at their highest and hardly they negotiate for any kind of discounts. Second most crowded time is at the time of the great annual sale in June to July. And again hotels and other accommodations are at their highest prices.

Mid Season:Mid January to May is considered as Mid season as regular tourism and no school holidays during this time. If you want to avoid crowds then April is the best month to visit Singapore, as there are no public holidays in the month of April. But, expect high heat and humidity.

Low Season: August to October, except Mid September, as more traffic in mid September due to the Singapore Grand Prix. Otherwise very less tourists during August to October. And the hotel may give some discounts, although there isn’t a noticeable difference in hotel rate.
